This is a great recipe! You can shake some extra seasonings on the wings once they are coated, or add to the bag. I have used regular flour, garbanzo bean flour, and almond flour - all with great results. I have made this recipe many times, and I have to say, you can use cooking spray alone, and it works wonderfully. I have found the non-stick foil to be superior, and it works great for this recipe if you have some on hand. The best thing about this is you can get crunchy wings, seasoned to your preference, and save the calories from frying (if you omit the butter and use cooking spray.) Dry the chicken well before you coat it with flour, and make sure they are fully defrosted if they were previously frozen. Excellent, versatile recipe!

This is one of those recipes that actually works!!! Didn't take long to mix the flour and spices, then pop in the oven. I sprayed with olive oil spray instead of rolling in butter, and they came out so crisp. Even after being refrigerated, they were still crispy! Great/ simple recipe. Thanks for sharing :-)

My husband & I love wings, but I hate frying them, so we usually will go out. Previously when I have cooked wings in the oven, the skin was not crunchy, so I was a little hesitate about trying these. Well, I certainly don't have to worry anymore! We can now stay at home because I have found a keeper. These are wonderful. I went a little easy on the cayenne, but I will definitely add more the next time (and trust me, there will be a next time). When I turned the wings over, I did put them on a clean piece of foil to rid it of the remaining butter just to make sure that they would brown & get crunchy. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

These wings are outstanding! My husband said that they were the best wings he's ever eaten. I did make a couple of changes. I didn't have cayenne pepper so I used sweet paprika for the paprika and spicy paprika in place of the cayenne pepper. I added a couple of dashes of granulated garlic (in addition to what the recipe called for). I cooked the wings on a cooling rack that I placed inside of a roasting pan (so the heat could circulate and crisp them better) and I cooked them about 40 minutes on the first side and about 20 minutes more when I flipped them. They were perfectly crispy (and not greasy) on the outside and very moist and tender on the inside.

Amazing! I’ve been trying to cook more diverse homemade meals; that my husband enjoys! It’s always been hard for me to think of meals each night, with this website, my family is loving everything I’ve made!! Thank you!! These wings shocked my husband that they are baked because they come out so crispy, with less mess and healthier than frying. I recommend this site for anyone looking for delicious recipes or anyone who isn’t a natural born chef or who loves to cook. I hated cooking before and got stressed wondering what to make each day. I have had nothing but great responses to my meals sense finding this site!! I definitely recommend the food on here; I haven’t been disappointed with anything I’ve made; it feels amazing that other family members are now asking me for recipes and my husband is bragging on how great my food is!!... with so many dishes to choose from, and the ratings from others, you can see the food that appeals to you and your needs.
